1. Clear the area of the floor where the Christmas Tree will be sitting pretty for the holiday season.
2. Prepare a blockade in between the tree stand and the floor to prevent the water you pour from damaging the finish. An absorbent mat that’s designed to sit beneath a tree stand, a washer tray or simply put down a plastic sheet, it will protect your hardwood floor.
3. Place a tree skirt after deciding what blockade you want to put in between the tree stand and floor, it will look pretty and no one will even notice what blockade you used.
4. Vacuum the area around the tree to get rid of any loose pine nails & needles, sharp stem & branch as frequent as you can.
